**Position Overview:** We are seeking experienced Security Specialists to enhance our Physical Security team at our Tempe facility. This role demands a professional with a strong background in customer service and the safeguarding of individuals and property. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive mindset and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in a dynamic environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Exhibit outstanding customer service skills when interacting with employees, visitors, and guests.
  • Serve as a visible deterrent to crime while maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor.
  • Ensure a safe and secure environment for all personnel and visitors.
  • Effectively manage interactions with individuals exhibiting disorderly behavior.
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations as required.
  • Conduct regular patrols, monitor surveillance systems, and inspect facilities to maintain security.
  • Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations as outlined by management.
  • Utilize software for guest registration, communication, reporting, and surveillance management.
  • Comply with all relevant federal, state, and local security regulations.
  • Master the use of emergency equipment and respond appropriately in crisis situations.
  • Assist in identifying and mitigating safety hazards within the facility.
  • Demonstrate adaptability and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
  • Conduct security checks to prevent theft and unauthorized items.
  • Provide security and personal protection during special events as necessary.
  • Report any irregularities, suspicious activities, or safety concerns to supervisors.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding company and employee information.

**Qualifications:**

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Valid Arizona Unarmed Security Guard license issued by the Department of Public Safety.
  • Dependable transportation and a valid Arizona Driver's license.
  • Proven safe driving record.
  • Familiarity with basic security practices.
  • First Aid/CPR/AED certification required or ability to obtain within three months.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Availability to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • College degree or coursework in Criminal Justice or related fields.
  • Previous law enforcement or military experience with honorable discharge.
  • Experience in corporate or manufacturing security roles.
