Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and oversee testing operations on various machinery.
- Document test results in standardized formats and communicate findings to product and engineering teams.
- Evaluate test data to detect defects, malfunctions, or performance discrepancies.
- Work collaboratively with technical teams to propose solutions for testing challenges or equipment issues.
- Maintain, repair, and calibrate testing apparatus and systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complications related to testing methodologies.
- Develop new testing protocols in partnership with the engineering team.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards during testing procedures.
Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree or equivalent educational background.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience in the field or a related area.
- Familiarity with industry-specific testing methods and equipment (e.g., calipers, drop mics, bore gauges, inside/outside micrometers).
- Experience with torque wrenches and mechanical systems.
- Understanding of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the manufacturing sector.
- Ability to work under direct supervision and achieve objectives with limited experience and judgment.
- Creative problem-solving skills and flexibility in approach.
- Physical capability to lift weights exceeding 30 lbs. and manage physical risks associated with testing.
