Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records of hours worked and submit payroll information in a timely manner.
  • Assist visitors and respond to general inquiries, guiding them throughout the facility and ensuring a safe environment.
  • Manage the lighting systems during events as required.
  • Address and report any medical emergencies involving guests or staff.
  • Monitor and respond to all security alarms, including fire alarms.
  • Ensure the security of athletic facilities after hours, monitoring for unauthorized access, maintenance issues, and potential hazards.
  • Operate and oversee surveillance systems across various locations, documenting any unusual activities and reporting them to the appropriate authorities.
  • Control access to facilities, ensuring that all equipment and keys are accounted for during shifts.
  • Maintain communication with all security personnel, coordinating with emergency services as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications

At least one year of experience in a security-related role or an equivalent combination of experience and education. A valid US driver's license may be required.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in a security or related position.
  • Knowledge of building-specific security systems and equipment.
  • Strong communication skills and experience interacting with the public.
  • Familiarity with security protocols in an athletic context is advantageous.

Work Environment

This position requires performing duties both indoors and outdoors, with exposure to various weather conditions. The role involves extensive standing and walking, as well as the ability to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds. Flexibility in scheduling is essential, including availability for overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
