Key Responsibilities

As a Lead Enterprise Solutions Architect within our Corporate Technology division, you will be instrumental in defining the internal application framework for Archer's enterprise operations through low-code development. Your role will involve close collaboration with IT leaders, business partners, and cross-functional teams to leverage internal application development for operational excellence and innovation. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging with IT and business stakeholders to gather and assess application requirements, crafting solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Creating architecture diagrams and technical design documentation to steer internal application development projects.
  • Offering expertise and direction to technical developers, ensuring compliance with best practices and standards.
  • Designing, developing, and troubleshooting integrations of enterprise applications, along with related business processes in areas such as design, certification, testing, manufacturing operations, and airline operations.
  • Providing strategic input for the maintenance of integrations between enterprise applications to guarantee seamless operation.
  • Implementing measures for performance enhancement of internal applications and suggesting improvements.
  • Incorporating security protocols to safeguard sensitive information, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Developing and maintaining thorough technical documentation related to internal application architecture and processes.
  • Collaborating with software vendors and consultants to deliver effective internal applications, services, and solutions.
  • Diagnosing and resolving intricate technical issues associated with internal applications, providing essential incident support.
  • Keeping abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in application development to identify opportunities for process and system enhancements.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a technical role related to low-code development and enterprise application architecture.
  • Expertise in internal application development technologies and platforms, including low-code platforms such as Mendix or similar, enterprise application integrations for PLM & ERP, data governance, and data security.
  • Proficiency in SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), HMI (Human-Machine Interface), and other shop floor systems within the ISA-95 framework.
  • Extensive business process and domain knowledge in manufacturing planning and operations, particularly in complex manufacturing settings, ideally within the aerospace sector.
  • Strong capability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, SQL, JavaScript, and other relevant languages that facilitate internal application development.
  • Experience with REST APIs for enterprise application integrations.
  • Experience in implementing, customizing, configuring, and integrating low-code platforms.
  • Knowledge of data security best practices and compliance standards.
  • Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization techniques for internal applications.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a knack for troubleshooting complex internal application challenges.
  • Relevant certifications in low-code platform development and related fields are advantageous.
