Position Overview:


The Transcript Processing Specialist, under the supervision of the Assistant University Registrar, is tasked with managing transcript requests, addressing inquiries related to transcripts, updating student records, and supporting various general Registrar functions.

The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering exceptional service to all stakeholders of Alliant International University.

The individual will uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct, aligning with Alliant's Mission and Vision.


Compensation:
$17.71 per hour, non-exempt, Part-time, 19 hours weekly.

Essential Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor's degree or a comparable combination of education and experience.

Experience:
At least one year of previous experience in a Registrar's Office or a similar environment.

Certifications, Licenses, etc:
None required.

Required Skills:
Intermediate proficiency in computer applications (MS Excel, Access, Outlook, Publisher). Familiarity with Anthology (CampusNexus) is highly preferred. Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.

Must demonstrate the capacity to operate effectively in a high-volume setting with meticulous attention to detail, and possess the ability to prioritize tasks independently.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, or similar software. Capability to quickly learn software necessary for job functions.

Key Responsibilities:


Manage transcript requests, including coordination with the National Student Clearinghouse to retrieve and process transcript orders.

Address inquiries regarding transcript ordering and status updates.
Assist in resolving common transcript-related issues.
Process routine updates to student records, including address changes, ensuring accurate entry into the student information system.
Support the timely and accurate fulfillment of enrollment, degree, and other verification requests.
Assist with document scanning and filing as required.
Perform additional related tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
