Support Providers and Patients in a Pediatric Oncology Clinic

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a clinical support specialist in our pediatric oncology clinic. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in supporting providers and patients during their clinic visits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor clinic schedules and greet patients in a timely and professional manner
  • Guide patients to their examination room and collect pertinent medical information for their health records
  • Act as a valued partner in delivering an outstanding patient experience by coordinating and communicating with other members of the healthcare team
  • Assist with minor in-office procedures, give injections and immunizations, and collect laboratory samples as needed
Requirements:
  • EMT certification: NREMT & MN EMT certification
  • MA certification: Medical Assisting Diploma from a CHEA/CAAHEP accredited program (CMA or RMA preferred)
  • LPN licensure: Active Minnesota Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) license
