Fairview Health Services is in search of a proficient Pediatric Respiratory Care Specialist to become a part of our dedicated team.

  • We are offering a competitive $20,000 Sign-On Bonus for candidates with over 2 years of experience in Neonatal/Pediatric care.
  • For those who may not meet the experience requirement, a $13,500 Sign-On Bonus is still available.

The role of the Pediatric Respiratory Care Specialist encompasses delivering diagnostic and therapeutic interventions as prescribed by a physician, adhering to established treatment protocols and departmental guidelines. Responsibilities include providing care for patients across all age groups, including neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations. This position involves working 12-hour night shifts with a rotation every third weekend. Night shift personnel are eligible for a $4.00/hr differential along with an additional weekend premium differential.

Our benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, HSA, PTO, 403B, tuition reimbursement, and more. The dynamic Respiratory Therapy department is comprised of approximately 50 committed professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Executing respiratory interventions in accordance with the established care plan.
  • Operating and maintaining respiratory care equipment effectively.
  • Holding an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care/Therapy or a related discipline.
  • Possessing a Respiratory Therapist License issued by the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice.
  • Being a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certified by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • New Graduates are required to obtain RRT certification within 6 months of hire.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Care/Therapy or a related field is preferred.
