Fairview Health Services is in search of a proficient Pediatric Respiratory Care Specialist to become a part of our dedicated team.
- We are offering a competitive $20,000 Sign-On Bonus for candidates with over 2 years of experience in Neonatal/Pediatric care.
- For those who may not meet the experience requirement, a $13,500 Sign-On Bonus is still available.
The role of the Pediatric Respiratory Care Specialist encompasses delivering diagnostic and therapeutic interventions as prescribed by a physician, adhering to established treatment protocols and departmental guidelines. Responsibilities include providing care for patients across all age groups, including neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations. This position involves working 12-hour night shifts with a rotation every third weekend. Night shift personnel are eligible for a $4.00/hr differential along with an additional weekend premium differential.

Fairview provides a comprehensive array of healthcare services, including community and academic hospitals, primary and specialty care clinics, senior facilities, rehabilitation centers, home health care, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Executing respiratory interventions in accordance with the established care plan.
- Operating and maintaining respiratory care equipment effectively.
- Holding an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care/Therapy or a related discipline.
- Possessing a Respiratory Therapist License issued by the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice.
- Being a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certified by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- New Graduates are required to obtain RRT certification within 6 months of hire.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Care/Therapy or a related field is preferred.
