Compensation: Starting at $30 per hour, based on experience.

Your Role as a Pediatric Rehabilitation Specialist:

As a Pediatric Rehabilitation Specialist at T & K Pediatric Services, you will be instrumental in assisting children in developing essential skills necessary for daily activities and achieving their developmental goals. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of therapists, including speech-language pathologists, physical therapists, and behavioral health specialists, to provide our patients with tailored and comprehensive treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing children's physical, sensory, and cognitive capabilities to identify their needs and formulate personalized treatment strategies.
  • Designing and executing therapeutic activities and exercises aimed at enhancing motor skills, coordination, sensory integration, and cognitive functions.
  • Tracking and documenting progress, modifying treatment plans as needed, and recording patient milestones.
  • Working in partnership with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to therapy.
  • Offering guidance and support to parents and caregivers on strategies to foster skill development and reinforce therapy techniques at home.

Qualifications:

  • A master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • A valid state license or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in North Dakota.
  • Experience working with children, preferably in a pediatric environment; training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • Proven knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy principles, techniques, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members, parents, and caregivers.
