Children's Minnesota is actively seeking a full-time Pediatric Hematology-Oncology Specialist with a focused interest in managing solid tumor cases.

Our dedicated Cancer and Blood Disorders Program comprises over 200 skilled professionals, including 22 physicians and 15 nurse practitioners, alongside nurse case managers, pharmacists, rehabilitation therapists, dieticians, genetic counselors, social workers, child life specialists, interpreters, and home care and hospice experts.

On average, our program evaluates 35 new solid tumor patients annually. We are supported by 2 full-time physicians specializing in solid tumors, complemented by 1 dedicated nurse practitioner and 3 nurse case managers focusing on solid tumor care. We encourage interest in adolescent and young adult care, as well as survivorship initiatives.

The department at Children's Minnesota delivers comprehensive care for pediatric patients with various malignancies, including brain tumors, solid tumors, leukemia, and blood disorders such as sickle cell disease, bleeding disorders, and anemia. As the leading provider of services for children facing cancer and blood disorders in the region, our program emphasizes well-coordinated, evidence-based clinical care. We are engaged in national and international research efforts and are recognized leaders in studies related to supportive care and quality of life for children battling cancer and blood disorders.

As a teaching institution, Children's Minnesota collaborates with medical students, residents, and fellows from prestigious institutions. While academic inquiry and research are highly regarded, they are not mandatory. Our robust clinical trial program is significantly involved in the Children's Oncology Group (COG) clinical trials.

  • Candidates must be board-eligible or board-certified in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology, demonstrating exceptional qualifications in education, clinical research, and patient care.
