Job Summary

This is a challenging opportunity to serve as a Project Manager for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the planning, scoping, development, design, construction, and direction of important civil works, inter-agency, and inter-governmental projects.

You will work collaboratively across functionally diverse teams to develop solutions to technically complex water resource problems and engineering challenges. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the successful execution of projects, meeting project objectives, and controlling project milestones and budgets.

This is a great opportunity to utilize your project management skills and experience to make a meaningful contribution to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the planning, scoping, development, design, construction, and direction of civil works, inter-agency, and inter-governmental projects.
  • Work collaboratively across functionally diverse teams to develop solutions to technically complex water resource problems and engineering challenges.
  • Ensure the successful execution of projects, meeting project objectives, and controlling project milestones and budgets.
  • Develop and implement Project Management Plans (PMP) to ensure project success.
Requirements
  • One year of experience in project management, preferably in a civil works or engineering environment.
  • Strong project management skills, including experience with project planning, execution, control, and closure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
