Brayman Construction Corporation is currently hiring for a full-time Quality Control Manager to join our team of professionals on our long-term, US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) project at the Bluestone Dam in Hinton, West Virginia. The full-time schedule is typically Monday through Friday, 48+ hours per week, with some variation based on project needs. If this sounds like the right opportunity for you, apply todaySUMMARY OF QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIESEnsure that the company's quality control procedures are being followedDevelop and implement quality control tests and procedures that meet or exceed company and project requirementsOversee our team of Quality Control staff and collaborate with other project team membersAs an integral part of the team, there will be times when you must perform the duties of the QC Engineer as wellFor a complete job description and list of responsibilities, please visit our career page at QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER QUALIFICATIONS10+ years of related professional experienceBachelor's Degree in Engineering or GeologyExperience with the US Army Corps of EngineersExperience in the inspection and testing of various construction disciplines like concrete, soils, welding, or maintenance of traffic requiredLegal registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geology License is preferredExperience with steel erection projects a plusExperience with Structural Concrete and Mass Concrete a plusStrong supervisory and leadership skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsSAFETYThis is a Safety Sensitive Position requiring work on project sites, including federal projects with various safety hazards which are potentially life-threatening to the employee. This position may require working at heights, in confined spaces, around heavy equipment, around high voltage, and under constantly changing circumstances.
