Job Summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced Policy Analyst to support the Department of Homeland Security's Office of Strategy, Policy, and Plans in implementing processes, developing strategies, and providing program management support for activities related to the Uyghur Force Labor Prevention Act (UFLPA) and the Forced Labor Enforcement Task Force (FLETF).

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct support to the FLETF, including stakeholder coordination, meeting facilitation, administration, and documentation.
  • Optimize processes and develop policies and strategies related to the UFLPA and FLETF.
  • Collaborate with senior U.S. government policymakers to produce briefing memoranda and other written materials.
  • Work with interagency teams to develop and implement policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and non-governmental organizations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in a relevant field, such as international relations, politics, or public policy.
  • 8 years minimum of experience in policy development and analysis, with a focus on homeland security and international trade.
  • Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise reports and briefings.
  • Experience working with Congress and producing Congressional reports.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of products and SharePoint.
  • TS/SCI with current DHS Suitability or eligibility to obtain DHS Suitability.
