Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction General Manager to oversee and direct operations at Express Employment Professionals - Fort Myers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, team development, and P&L expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Oversight: Oversee and coordinate the management of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with Department Managers to streamline project operations and achieve company goals.
  • Financial Management: Review financial statements, sales, and activity reports to measure productivity and identify areas for cost reduction or program improvement.
  • Administrative Oversight: Directly oversee the Administrative Department to ensure excellent client service.
  • Financial Coordination: Coordinate financial and budget activities with the Finance Department to optimize operations and investments.
  • Policies and Procedures: Establish and implement departmental policies, goals, and procedures in collaboration with staff members.
  • Personnel Management: In conjunction with the Human Resources Department, perform personnel functions, including selection, training, and evaluation.
  • Marketing Strategies: Oversee the development of marketing strategies, including advertising campaigns and sales promotions, with the Office Manager and Marketing Manager.
  • Recommendations and Decisions: Provide recommendations to the Owner and make staffing decisions to maintain company standards and operations.
  • Company Standards: Uphold company standards, ethics, employee morale, and values, taking necessary actions to address deficiencies.

  • Construction Experience: Extensive experience in construction management and operations.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team development skills.
  • P&L Expertise: Proven expertise in P&L management.
  • Communication and Problem-Solving: Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with various departments to achieve company objectives.
