Job Title: Development and Marketing Manager

Mindful Life Project (MLP) is seeking a highly skilled Development and Marketing Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for developing and executing MLP's fundraising plans and strategies, as well as creating and implementing external communications plans to build awareness of our work and programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute MLP's fundraising plans and strategies in collaboration with the Senior Director of Development and Marketing and the Executive Director.
  • Manage MLP's grants calendar, track due dates and funding cycles, and oversee the full grant application process from start to finish.
  • Write and support the writing of development content and communications, including grant proposals, progress reports, and donor communications.
  • Identify and conduct prospect research on potential donors and cultivate relationships with existing donors and new funders.
  • Conceptualize, plan, implement, and oversee fundraising campaigns and events.
  • Manage all of MLP's social media platforms, generate and gather new content, and develop and implement posting schedules.
  • Facilitate and maintain internal and external communications with staff, donors, affiliates, vendors, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in development and marketing, including grant writing, fundraising, and social media management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate MLP's mission and program work.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of development and marketing dashboards and design software, including Instrumentl, Candid, Salesforce, Google Analytics, and Canva.
