Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Addiction Counselor-IOP to join our team at Riveon Mental Health and Recovery Careers. As an Addiction Counselor-IOP, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality clinical services to individuals struggling with addiction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver individual and group counseling sessions to clients, focusing on their strengths and weaknesses to develop effective treatment plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to identify client needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
  • Develop and implement educational programs to promote healthy behaviors and prevent relapse.
  • Provide crisis intervention and case management services to clients and their families.
  • Participate in regular clinical reviews and staffing to ensure high-quality care and make data-driven decisions.
  • Engage with referral sources and community partners to promote our services and build relationships.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a related field, such as counseling or psychology, with a focus on addiction treatment.
  • Three years of experience in addiction counseling or a related field, with a strong understanding of evidence-based practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of addiction treatment modalities, including CBT and motivational interviewing.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
