Key Responsibilities:

  • Address and resolve guest concerns, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
  • Proactively anticipate guest needs, responding swiftly and acknowledging all guests, regardless of the time or busyness.
  • Foster positive relationships with guests at all times.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of hotel amenities, services, and operational hours.
  • Stay informed about room rates, special offers, and promotions.
  • Keep track of daily occupancy and expected arrivals and departures.
  • Manage assigned cash drawer and ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
  • Secure cash drawer at all times.
  • Answer department calls promptly, adhering to proper greeting protocols.
  • Facilitate all guest check-ins efficiently.
  • Verify guest registration details accurately.
  • Collect necessary backup information for guest payment methods and input into the system; process cash transactions when required.
  • Coordinate with Bell Staff to assist guests with luggage transport.
  • Handle situations involving overbooked or walk-in guests effectively.
  • Accept and document wake-up call requests.
  • Manage guest fax communications.
  • Relay important guest information to relevant departments or personnel.
  • Resolve any discrepancies in room status reports with the housekeeping team.
  • Ensure accuracy between bucket checks and in-house guest ledger reports; report any inconsistencies to management.
  • Process all guest check-outs seamlessly.
  • Handle adjustment vouchers, paid-outs, correction vouchers, and miscellaneous charges.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred one year of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Basic computer proficiency is required.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
