Payroll Specialist

About the Role:
Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for processing payroll functions for an assigned company division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Calculate, verify, and enter weekly and bi-weekly payroll utilizing ADP.
- Enter and change all employee file maintenance as needed.
- Monitor all medical benefits, 401k garnishes, liens, and their subsequent deductions.
- Monitor all "special" pay, shift differentials, etc.
- Maintain payroll records for assigned company division.
- Generate and create payroll reports, utilizing ADP Reporting tool as needed.
- Assist in all other payroll/personnel areas.
- Monitor time & attendance processes & accuracy of recordkeeping via Kronos Time & Attendance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Three (3) years of current payroll knowledge & experience.
- Previous Workday experience preferred.
- Must be knowledgeable in current payroll procedures and guidelines.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word skills.
- Must have strong reporting software experience as well as strong excel skills.
- Must have ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Must have 10-Key experience.
- Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
