Key Responsibilities

The Customer Care Representative for Appointment Scheduling will:

  1. Deliver exceptional service to patients, colleagues, physicians, and clinical staff.
  2. Accurately schedule new patient appointments for physicians and ancillary services.
  3. Gather and update essential patient demographic, insurance, and clinical data.
  4. Ensure all patient information is accurately recorded in our systems.
  5. Maintain effective communication with patients regarding their appointment status.
  6. Coordinate with Admissions, Financial Counseling, and Utilization Management as needed.
  7. Work with clinicians to ensure accurate appointment scheduling.
  8. Stay informed about NJH clinical operations, insurance protocols, and medical terminology.

Qualifications
  1. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  2. Experience: Minimum of one year in customer service; experience in patient scheduling or healthcare call centers is preferred.
  3. Language Skills: Bilingual candidates, especially those fluent in Spanish, are highly desirable.
Compensation and Benefits
