Purchasing and Bookkeeping Coordinator

Forge Search is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable individual to join our team as a Purchasing and Bookkeeping Assistant. This role will be responsible for performing purchasing activities and AP/AR related duties to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Purchasing: Manage procurement of materials, supplies, and services needed for production, negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchasing without compromising quality, maintain inventory records and monitor stock levels, and place orders when necessary.
- Finance/Bookkeeping: Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations, prepare and maintain accurate financial records for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, and assist with budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Operations Support: Collaborate with production staff to ensure purchasing aligns with project timelines and material requirements, assist with administrative tasks, such as maintaining records, filing, and updating databases, and contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Proven experience in purchasing, bookkeeping, or related fields (3+ years preferred)
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- High level of integrity, discretion, and respect for confidentiality
