Job Profile Summary
As a seasoned Project Manager, you will be responsible for consolidating, challenging, and elaborating input data for infrastructure projects. This includes piloting, coordinating, and receiving studies from other team members, ensuring compliance with internal standards and local legal requirements. Your expertise will be crucial in the realization, installation, commissioning, and reception of buildings and utilities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Consolidate opportunity studies (scope, cost, and schedule)
  • Ensure the optimization of specifications by challenging and consolidating needs
  • Responsible for feasibility studies (description, cost, and planning): organize, consolidate internal or external deliverables
  • Organize, pilot, and control the activities of their team throughout the project
  • Write consultation files. Research and select service providers for the studies and construction phases
  • Deliver a Basic Design file (detailed design)
  • Follows, validates, and receives outsourced services
  • Guarantor of the follow-up of evolutions by instructing requests for modifications
  • Transmit an estimate and a consolidated schedule and an updated risk analysis
  • Ensure compliance with site safety rules
  • Ensure the quality, the schedule, and the budget of the works carried out
  • Collaborate with Procurement for contracting purchases
  • Ensure compliance of infrastructures for process teams
  • Manage customer modifications and external complaints
  • Ensure the organization of the procedures for commissioning and the reception of works and equipment
  • Draw up the end-of-case report, presents the end-of-project analysis, and archives all documents
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying, or a related field, plus seven years of relevant experience
  • Highly articulate, clear, and analytical approach to problem-solving, and strong decision-making abilities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong construction estimating skills, strong knowledge of construction and procurement strategies, and proficiency with project scheduling software
  • Ability to navigate Web-based construction management software
  • Thorough understanding and utilization of Information Technology in the performance of work
  • Building construction/state license, 30-hour training in OSHA safety requirements, CMAA/PMI
