Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver meals that meet nutritional guidelines and customer needs
  • Manage kitchen inventory, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient operations
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Collaborate with the dietitian to develop menus that meet the needs of our customers
  • Conduct quality assurance surveys to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for cooks to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of kitchen operations, including temperature logs and cleaning checklists
  • Lead and manage a team of cooks to achieve our goals and objectives

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of cooking experience, with 1 year of supervisory experience
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team
  • Ability to read and write English, with proficiency in computer systems and software
  • Current WA Food Handlers Permit required
