Job Summary:

The Quality Manager is a key leadership role responsible for planning, developing, and coordinating quality programs and processes to ensure continuous production of products that meet established quality and customer standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain quality objectives to drive continuous improvement and ensure product quality.
  • Develop and implement key metrics and reporting systems to track quality performance.
  • Lead customer concerns and ensure timely resolution and communication with the manufacturing facility.
  • Ensure compliance with customers' specifications and execute corrective actions as needed.
  • Provide leadership in maintaining and implementing the TS 16949 system and Lean principles.
  • Direct and allocate overtime hours to support production activities and perform associate performance reviews.
  • Support continuous improvement projects and participate in training and development initiatives.
  • Ensure Housekeeping and Health & Safety Standards are maintained and participate in Layered Process Audits.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Four years of College or University Degree in Business, Quality, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Two to five years' experience in a leadership role, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Ability to solve complex problems and exercise judgment based on analysis of multiple sources.
  • Proven leadership and managerial skills, interpersonal skills, and personal development skills.
  • Experience in a variety of basic operation disciplines: Manufacturing, Quality, Process/Tooling, and Shop Floor Supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as necessary.

Work Environment/Work Conditions:

Professional Office Environment; Must wear proper personal protection equipment while on the manufacturing floor; Travel to manufacturing facilities or customer locations when required.
