Job Summary:

As a Speech Therapist I- Outpatient Pediatrics at Kaiser Permanente, you will provide diagnosis and treatment of communication disorders for pediatric patients. You will work under supervision to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements. This role is part of the Labor/Management Partnership environment, where you will work collaboratively with colleagues to provide high-quality patient care.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders for pediatric patients. Administer diagnostic tests and implement individualized treatments.
  • Advise physicians and patients of disorders and develop treatment schedules. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Implement and maintain department policies and procedures. Identify opportunities for new or enhanced services or levels of patient care.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience
  • Completion of a Speech Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Internship required by date of hire.
Education
  • Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology by date of hire.
License, Certification, Registration
  • Speech-Language Pathologist License (California)
  • National Provider Identifier
  • Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate
  • Basic Life Support required at hire
Additional Requirements:
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
