Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment Planning: Establish speech and language treatment goals through dynamic and standardized assessment tools, and develop collaborative treatment plans with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Individual and Group Therapy: Provide individual therapy sessions, as well as group and co-treats with other disciplines as therapeutically appropriate.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documentation, and billing in accordance with federal and state regulations and company policy.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Facilitate functional and stimulating experiences to target and achieve individualized goals, and collaborate with patients, families, and team members to understand their values, interests, and goals.
  • Program Development and Implementation: Contribute to program development, and implement programming that considers all aspects of the child, including sensorimotor, cognitive, communicative, recreational, and social activities.
  • Education and Training: Educate patients, families, team members, and caregivers on home programs that complement treatment.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree: Possess a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Licensure: Be licensed to practice as a Speech and Language Pathologist in the state of California.
  • Clinical Skills: Demonstrate excellent clinical skills and a passion for working with children.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Be flexible and open to learning, and have an appreciation for a wide range of therapeutic approaches.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Possess knowledge of HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient information, and be occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl; reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Compensation and Benefits

Cortica offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401Ks with company matching and rapid vesting, paid holidays and wellness days, life insurance, disability insurance options, tuition reimbursements for professional development and continuing education, and referral bonuses.

The base pay range for this opening is $87,111 to $108,888 annually, and compensation will be adjusted based on skill level, relevant experience, education level, and location.
