Pediatric Senior Physical Therapist Short Hour Outpatient

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Senior Physical Therapist to join our team in an outpatient setting. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will provide independent physical therapy management of patients under the direction of the Rehabilitation Services Director or designee.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients and interpret evaluation findings to determine the nature and extent of dysfunction.
- Establish treatment goals and plans treatment to achieve established goals.
- Initiate discharge planning for physical therapy and implement the treatment plan through direct treatment of the patient.
- Delegate a portion of the treatment plan to appropriate supportive personnel and coordinate the treatment program with other health care personnel as appropriate.
- Provide advice and education to patients and families, and regularly reassess clinical signs and symptoms to determine effectiveness of treatment and progress of patients towards goals.
- Discharge patients from physical therapy when they have received maximum benefit from physical therapy, and provide accurate, timely documentation of physical therapy patient management.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in physical therapy.
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy curriculum with a bachelors, masters or doctoral degree with certification in physical therapy or foreign-trained equivalent.
- Physical Therapist License (California) required at hire, Basic Life Support required at hire, and National Provider Identifier required at hire.
- Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
