Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Nurse Practitioner Fellow to join our team at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). As a member of our Advanced Practice Immersion Program, you will have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills and expertise in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the APP Clinical Immersion program educational curriculum, completing post-tests and evaluations as a measure of competence.
  • Develop and maintain required competencies, identifying learning needs and seeking appropriate educational offerings.
  • Utilize advanced assessment skills to support the management of a cohort of patients, performing and documenting daily assessments.
  • Communicate the plan of care and potential changes to this plan to the supervising physician and assigned hospital provider.
  • Collect and analyze data, formulating a family-centered plan of care and evaluating the effectiveness of the prescribed treatment plan.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • Master's Degree Nursing Required
  • Ability to work in a team setting with multiple responsibilities
  • Ability to use computer and electronic medical records effectively
  • Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania) - Pennsylvania State Board of Licensing - Preferred
  • Primary Care Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner - CPNP-PC - Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB) - Preferred or Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner - Acute Care (CPNP-AC) - Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB) - Preferred or Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) (Pennsylvania) - Pennsylvania State Board of Licensing - Preferred
