The Penn Nursing Director, Leonard A. Lauder Community Care Nurse Practitioner Program is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the program, ensuring its successful development and implementation, and advancing its overall mission. This includes timely execution and evaluation of program components, engaging with and supporting Fellows and alumni, and developing and maintaining relationships with community partners and preceptors.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with community partner sites and preceptors
- Develop targeted recruitment plans
- Serve as a liaison for student and alumni Fellows
- Coordinate and conduct programmatic evaluations and reports
- Integrate alumni Fellow support and tracking
- Develop and maintain communication among Advisory Board members
- Coordinate primary care faculty development initiatives aligned with the program's mission
The ideal candidate will have an MSN and be a board-certified advanced practice nurse (CRNP) with a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in healthcare practice and management, preferably in community-based primary care or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Key qualifications include in-depth knowledge of community-based health centers and population health, ability to supervise the creation and dissemination of high-quality resources, excellent writing and speaking skills, outstanding organizational skills, excellent problem-solving skills, and project and event management experience.
