Job Summary

Leidos is seeking a highly skilled Network Architect to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of global enterprise networks. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing secure network designs, configuring network devices, and ensuring the smooth operation of our networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement network architectures that meet the needs of our global enterprise clients.
  • Configure and troubleshoot network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, bill of materials, and configurations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful deployment of network solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our network infrastructure.
Requirements
  • TS SCI CI Poly clearance.
  • 16 years of experience in network engineering, with a combination of work history and education.
  • DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2 (Security+ CE) certification.
  • Experience with network engineering, including Tier III or higher network operations and/or network design and implementation.
  • Prior responsibility for production network hardware configurations for Cisco, Brocade, and/or Juniper.
  • Hands-on experience implementing and troubleshooting standard routing protocols in a production network, such as OSPF or BGP.
Desired Qualifications
  • Network engineering and design experience specific to CAN/LAN, with a focus on industry standards and configuration development.
  • Experience with MPLS WANs, network management tools, and firewalls.
  • Expert knowledge of routing and switching protocols, with the ability to demonstrate this knowledge through briefings and documentation.
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent knowledge.
