Job Summary

Sedgwick is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect Leader to join our team. This role will be responsible for establishing, planning, and administering the overall policies and goals for cloud-based infrastructure services in conjunction with senior IT management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and drive the implementation of secure, scalable, and highly available cloud-based solutions that adhere to defined reference architectures.
  • Provide vision, develop and monitor business plans and budgets, and partner with internal stakeholders on cloud-based infrastructure and other areas as assigned.
  • Direct the architecture, implementation, and key support of cloud-based infrastructure appropriate to the long-term strategic goals.
  • Lead cloud engineering teams to ensure their deployments follow the published cloud reference architectures.
  • Ensure that cloud-based services are delivered in a manner that complies with architectural and compliance standards, established best practices, and customer service goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, management information systems, engineering or related discipline with an IT focus required.
  • Advanced technical or business degree preferred.
  • Technical certification(s) such as Certified IT Architect (CITA), Certified Enterprise Architect (CEA), Microsoft Cloud Platform and Infrastructure (MCSE), or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional highly preferred.
  • Ten (10) years of technology management experience with large-scale infrastructure systems or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years of related experience spanning at least three disciplines which can include (systems architecture, network architecture, enterprise architecture, datacenter architecture) with at least 3-4 years of cloud solutions architecture experience.
  • Multi-cloud experience is preferred, with emphasis on implementing Microsoft Azure enterprise solutions.
