Job Overview

Position Summary: The Order Assembler is responsible for accurately compiling orders based on pick tickets to prepare them for delivery. This role involves utilizing industrial power equipment to build orders in accordance with assigned load tickets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently pull orders as per pick tickets to ensure accurate assembly for loading onto delivery vehicles.
  • Utilize industrial power equipment to construct orders based on designated load tickets.
  • Manually lift and relocate products for restocking and repacking, ensuring compliance with date code accuracy and proper rotation.
  • Adhere to safety standards and good manufacturing practices.
  • Meet established productivity targets.
  • Stage completed pallets in the specified area for distribution.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of 6 months of general work experience is preferred.
  • Experience with manual or powered pallet jacks is advantageous.
  • Prior experience in a warehouse setting is preferred.
  • Ability to repetitively lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks involving lifting, carrying, and positioning products above shoulder height without assistance.
  • Consistent ability to kneel, squat, and reach overhead.
  • Capability to push and pull manual and powered equipment (e.g., pallet jack, hand truck) with product loads for a minimum distance of 100 yards without assistance.
  • Proficient in grasping and manipulating objects of various sizes and weights, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
  • Able to read information in various print sizes.
  • Capacity to stand and walk for extended periods.
