We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Stratus Services. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and installing illuminated signs, including LED digits and message centers.
Key Responsibilities- Sign Assembly: Effectively assemble all types of illuminated signage, including LED digits and message centers.
- Paperwork and Documentation: Complete all required paperwork, such as work orders and material lists.
- Quality Control: Consistently build a solid container for shipment and transport to ensure the sign arrives at the final destination in sound condition.
- Technical Skills: Demonstrate competent techniques for sanding, painting, and assembly of all types of signs.
- Attention to Detail: Complete all work activities demonstrating attention to high quality, precise, and detailed work.
- Installation: Demonstrate high-quality and fine assembly techniques by effectively installing the face of the sign onto the frame of the sign.
- Additional Duties: Perform all other duties as assigned and demonstrate professionalism in the workplace.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in all phases of assembly of both interior and exterior illuminated and non-illuminated signs, with a focus on assembling channel letters.
- Skills: Detail-oriented, strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Teamwork: Ability to be self-directing with limited supervision, strong team player with the ability to build and foster working relationships.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
