About Our Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Sonographer to join our team at Central Florida Heart Associates. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing adult cardiac and vascular ultrasound exams in accordance with established protocols and procedures.

Working closely with our experienced cardiologists and advanced nurse practitioners, you will have the opportunity to apply your diagnostic scanning skills and independent judgment to provide comprehensive and accurate ultrasound evaluations. Your expertise will be essential in tailoring and expanding exams to ensure diagnostic accuracy and completeness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform 2-D Transthoracic Echocardiograms
  • Carotid Dopplers
  • Arterial Doppler of Upper & Lower Extremities
  • Venous Upper & Lower Dopplers
  • Chronic Venous Insufficiency Studies
  • ABIs

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must be registered by either ARDMS or CCI and have the ability to perform the following:

  • 2-D Transthoracic Echocardiograms
  • Carotid Dopplers
  • Arterial Doppler of Upper & Lower Extremities
  • Venous Upper & Lower Dopplers
  • Chronic Venous Insufficiency Studies
  • ABIs
