Job Summary

Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Echocardiography Specialist to join our team. As a Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing pediatric echocardiograms on patients between 0 to 21 years, fetal echocardiograms on women of all age groups, and echocardiograms on adults with congenital heart disease.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform pediatric echocardiograms on patients between 0 to 21 years, fetal echocardiograms on women of all age groups, and echocardiograms on adults with congenital heart disease.
  • Prepare patients and provide instructions during the echocardiogram.
  • Travel to multiple locations within The Bronx and Westchester to perform echocardiograms.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and technologies to provide high-quality care.
Requirements
  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • Associate degree preferred.
  • Completion of CAAHEP certified cardiovascular sonography program is preferred.
  • ARDMS in Pediatric Echocardiography required or registry in CCI in congenital cardiac sonography required within one year of hire.
  • BLS is required.
