Job Title: Business Development Representative

Amplify Recruiting is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Representative to join our team. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Market Research and Strategy Development:
    • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in the Tool and Die/Manufacturing industry.
    • Develop and execute strategic plans to meet sales and revenue targets.
    • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to align the company's offerings with market demand.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Establish and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and industry partners.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
    • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements with new and existing clients.
  • Sales Growth:
    • Generate leads, qualify prospects, and manage the sales pipeline to close deals effectively.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals, presentations, and tailored solutions for clients.
    • Meet or exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Industry Networking and Representation:
    • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to build brand awareness.
    • Develop a strong network of industry contacts to drive business opportunities.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams:
    • Work closely with engineering, production, and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution.
    • Provide customer feedback to help refine product offerings and services.
Requirements:
  • Minimum level of education/training required: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum experience required: 5+ years of experience in business development or sales within the Tool and Die, Manufacturing, or related industries.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling, and die design.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Will have accomplished the following:
    • Experience independently closing individual accounts with revenue over $250K+.
    • Average deal size $50K-100K.
    • Advanced knowledge of software and manufacturing technology.
    • Experience with project management in a manufacturing setting.
    • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events up to 1⁄2 of the time.
License or Certificate Required:

Driver's license is required.
