Human Resources Director

The Association for Materials Protection and Performance (AMPP) seeks a highly skilled Human Resources Director to lead our HR department. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for aligning our strategic business objectives with our employees and management. Your expertise in HR will help us advance our company's objectives and promote organizational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Direct the HR department, including Payroll staff, to advance company HR objectives.
* Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, including disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
* Partner with our leadership team to understand and execute our HR and talent strategy.
* Plan, lead, develop, coordinate, and implement policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support our HR compliance and strategy needs.
* Lead HR strategy and activities relating to employee lifecycles, including recruiting, onboarding, career path planning, and exit activities for terminated staff.
Requirements
* A bachelor's degree in a related field is required, with a master's degree preferred.
* 10+ years of progressive HR experience is required.
* Professional HR certification, SHRM SCP or SPHR, is preferred.
