About the Job
The State of Washington is looking for a skilled Data Management Specialist to join our team. As a Data Management Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical resource support on strategic data loading, synchronization, and data quality processing projects to meet organizational business objectives.
This role requires journey-level expertise to all data management functions and involves designing, constructing, testing, optimizing, and deploying Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) processes to support internal enterprise applications using modern ETL and data cleansing tools such as Informatica PowerCenter Designer, SQL 2012 or higher programmable objects.
You will also be responsible for conducting all Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) phases related to the definition, design, development, and implementation of new subject areas for enterprise application databases.
A combination of education and experience demonstrating a working knowledge of the duties, responsibilities, and competencies of the Data Management Specialist may substitute for the qualifications listed.
A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely allied field, AND five years of experience in a complex information technology environment are required for this position.
This role offers a competitive salary range of $82,512 - $108,252 per year, depending on experience.
