About the Job

The State of Washington is seeking a highly skilled Data Management Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference in the lives of others.

As a Data Management Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing, collecting, sorting, and creating electronic data for the integration of applications, software, systems, and associated workflow processes into the information systems serving the needs of the Washington State courts.

This role requires journey-level expertise to all data management functions and provides technical resource support on strategic data loading, synchronization, and data quality processing projects to meet organizational business objectives.

You will design, construct, test, optimize, and deploy Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) processes to support internal enterprise applications using modern ETL and data cleansing tools such as Informatica PowerCenter Designer, SQL 2012 or higher programmable objects.

Additionally, you will conduct all Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) phases related to the definition, design, development, and implementation of new subject areas for enterprise application databases.

A combination of education and experience demonstrating a working knowledge of the duties, responsibilities, and competencies of the Data Management Specialist may substitute for the qualifications listed.

A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely allied field, AND five years of experience in a complex information technology environment are required for this position.

This role offers a competitive salary range of $82,512 - $108,252 per year, depending on experience.
