We are excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned Project Management Office (PMO) Manager to join our team at the State of Washington. As a critical member of the IT leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our IT projects and portfolios.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IT project management, with a proven track record of leading large-scale technology infrastructure and software development projects. A certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute (PMI), or a university degree, is highly desirable.
Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
About the Key Responsibilities- Lead the PMO team to ensure successful project delivery
- Analyze project workload and identify resource constraints
- Maintain a holistic view of all IT projects and evaluate their progress
- Develop and implement work plans and technical guidance
- Perform personnel tasks, including hiring, leave requests, timesheets, performance evaluations, training plans, and other personnel actions
