Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather information about new or existing products to identify additional needs.
  • Assess the current state of products to discover areas for improvement.

Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of related experience and minimum 2 years in Workday Finance product support role.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration and Management.
  • Certified in Workday Financials preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience preferred.
  • Subject matter expertise on Workday – GL.
  • Working knowledge of Workday's GL and Corporate modules, as well as the Core Finance, Foundational Data Model (FDM), AP, and AR, EDMCS, and Blackline tool.
  • Hands-on experience and understanding of GL allocations, Reassignment of allocations, configuration, testing, and overall monthly period close process.
  • Continuous improvement mindset: ability to work with various stakeholders to deliver optimal design solutions and skills needed to build positive rapport with various levels of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong accounting skills and deep understanding of internal controls, risk management, and business processes.
  • Data acumen and experience working with large volumes of data and ability to balance data integrity and materiality.
  • Critical thinking, analytical, and financial analysis skills.
  • Collective capabilities for supporting teams, giving/receiving feedback, facilitating meetings, and leading team meetings.
  • Experience identifying measures or indicators of system performance and actions needed to improve or correct performance to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Ability to handle highly confidential information in a strictly professional manner.
  • Leading huddle and/or squad and/or ticket resolution meetings.
  • Experience with Workday Financial Reports and TAX business report generations.
  • Able to analyze customer requirements and coordinate with business users from techno-functional understanding and communicate with various teams.
  • Knowledge of financial data usage in accounting, reporting, and analysis.
  • Well-versed with Agile methodology and experience working and leading in a Scrum team.
Tools and Technologies:
  • Skilled in SQL.
  • Skilled in TOAD SQL database management tool.
  • Experience using SharePoint.
  • Skilled in Excel.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Teams.
  • Experience using Microsoft Project.
  • Experience using JIRA.
  • Strong/Good experience in Workday Finance configuration and functionality.
  • Experience using Blackline.
