Financial Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Director to join our team at HEI Hotels and Resorts. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of our hotel, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reports, and providing strategic financial guidance to our management team.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and direct the financial activities of the hotel, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and HEI Hotels and Resorts' financial policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to improve hotel profitability and efficiency.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to the General Manager and other members of the management team.
- Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Coordinate with the accounting department to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors and regulatory agencies.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in hotel finance and accounting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems.
