Position Summary:

We are seeking Therapeutic Mentors to engage with young individuals in both individual and group environments. The mentors will collaborate closely with each client's treatment team, including therapists and medication providers, to facilitate the achievement of treatment objectives.

Status:

Part-Time to Full-Time

Compensation:

Up to $65,000 annually

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate therapeutic activities that promote healthy social interactions, behavior modifications, and essential self-care skills.
  • Assist clients in reaching their goals through coaching, training, and connecting them with community resources.
  • Provide transportation for clients to and from clinics and community events.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, their families, and the treatment team.
  • Collaborate with clinical supervisors and directors to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
  • Assess client needs and formulate treatment goals, implementing rehabilitation activities as outlined in individual treatment plans.
  • Manage an active caseload of at least 10 clients, meeting with each weekly.
  • Participate in weekly supervision with the site director and attend all required meetings and training sessions.
  • Respond to client and family communications within 24 hours or the next business day.
  • Adhere to compliance regulations and maintain documentation standards.
  • Stay informed about updates and communications from management.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related mental health field, or demonstrate completion of 30 hours of college credit in a mental health-related discipline, or have one year of experience in a supervised mental health environment.

Experience working with at-risk youth is preferred. Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office is essential. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are mandatory.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands of this position require the ability to operate office equipment and move throughout the office environment. Candidates must be able to lift up to 35 pounds and maintain a stationary position for extended periods. Travel may be required up to 60% of the time.
