Senior Director of Student Affairs

New Mexico Junior College is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated leader to serve as the Senior Director of Student Affairs. This individual will provide strategic vision, executive leadership, and direction for the Student Affairs Division.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of progressively responsible post-secondary institutional experience, including at least five years supervising student affairs units. A Master's degree in student development, student personnel, higher education, educational leadership, or a related field is required.
This position reports to the President and serves on the Executive Cabinet. The Senior Director of Student Affairs works collaboratively with other VPs, partners often with the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, and with the Directors of Athletics and Campus Safety.
The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $105,000 per year, depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Student Affairs and serve as the Chief Student Affairs Officer of the College.
- Prepare for regional accreditor visits, lead Strategic Enrollment Management Plan, and Achieving the Dream Initiatives.
- Collaborate in expansion and implementation of diversity, equity, and inclusion practices.
- Provide leadership for the administration of the Student Handbook, oversee budgets, and support student extra-curricular activities.
- As Primary Designated School Official, oversight of international student eligibility, programs, and services.
