Job Description

New Mexico Junior College seeks an exceptional academic leader to drive student success, innovation, and excellence in our institution. As a Provost & Vice President for Academic Affairs, you will inspire and support students, faculty, and staff in achieving our mission, vision, and values.

This is a 12-month exempt position with a salary range of $160,000 to $170,000. The ideal candidate will possess a doctoral degree in Higher Education Leadership or a relevant terminal degree, with at least five years of progressively responsible institutional experience, including four years supervising in Academic Affairs.

The selected individual will work collaboratively with faculty, support staff, and the President's Executive Council to ensure wrap-around support for students. Key responsibilities include promoting student success, strategic leadership in faculty recruitment and development, and championing Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) awareness and commitment.
