We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Patient Access Representative to join our team at LCMC Health. As a Patient Access Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring that patients receive high-quality care by providing exceptional service and support throughout their healthcare journey.
Key Responsibilities- Provides Assistance to Patients: Greet patients, guests, and family members, both on the phone and in person, and provide assistance with scheduling appointments, registering patients, and answering questions.
- Registers Patients: Enter accurate demographic, financial class, and insurance information into our systems, and make revisions as needed to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Completes Financial Analysis: Analyze each case to determine financial responsibility and inform patients of their liability, including prior balances and estimates for scheduled services.
- Provides Excellent Customer Service: Promote a customer-centered experience by performing all functions in a warm and courteous manner, and provide directions to applicable areas of interest.
- Minimum: 2 years of experience in customer service or healthcare.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED, or 2 years of applicable experience in lieu of education.
