About the Role

PagerDuty is seeking a highly skilled Majors Growth Account Executive to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our customer base. If you have a proven track record of success in sales and are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Value Selling: Develop and execute strategic plans to highlight the unique value and benefits of PagerDuty's products and services to customers.
  2. Sales Effectiveness: Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, negotiate positive business outcomes, and manage complex sales cycles.
  3. Sales Execution: Ensure accurate forecasting, utilize historical data and market trends to inform sales strategies, and leverage internal resources and partners to drive sales growth.
Requirements
  1. 5-8 years of field sales experience, preferably in software sales/SaaS sales.
  2. 3-5 years of experience expanding into new areas of existing accounts.
  3. Enterprise Account Management experience with $500M+, Fortune 500, and Global 2000 companies.
  4. Sold in a multi-product selling environment before.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Effective time management, complex deal management, account planning, and analytical skills.
  2. Consistent track record of exceeding sales targets.
  3. Self-sufficient with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  4. Previous Sales Methodology training (e.g. MEDDIC, SPIN, Command of Message, Challenger Sales).
