As a Private Client Associate, your primary responsibility will be to deliver exceptional service to our Private Banking clientele while supporting our Private Client Advisors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exemplary customer service by:
  1. Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of all services and products offered by Nicolet Bank.
  2. Responding to all inquiries promptly via phone and email.
  3. Ensuring follow-through on all requests from clients and private bankers.
Build and nurture strong relationships with private banking clients, prospective clients, private bankers, and internal partners, with an emphasis on cross-selling across all departments.Act as the primary contact for daily account maintenance and provide backup support to private bankers during loan closings for established client relationships.Facilitate the opening and management of new personal and business accounts, including checking, savings, certificates of deposit, health savings accounts, and individual retirement accounts.Process requests for ATM and Debit cards, checks, foreign currency, and domestic and international wire transfers accurately and efficiently.Ensure proper account titling to prevent any disruptions to client estate plans.Assist in entering mortgage and consumer loan applications, conduct credit checks, and gather all necessary underwriting documentation.Help clients manage risks associated with their accounts to mitigate unauthorized activities and fraud exposure.Review and monitor loan and certificate of deposit renewal lists.Maintain the integrity of internal customer files.Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge of Private Banking policies, procedures, products, and customer demographics.Support the coordination of customer events and outings.Assist with compliance and regulatory requirements to minimize risks to the bank and client accounts.Engage in community boards, committees, and volunteer activities to expand networking opportunities and build a personal book of business.Collaborate with Private Client Advisors during annual meetings and may serve as the lead relationship manager for a select group of clients.Adhere to Nicolet's philosophy and policies by implementing appropriate controls to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, thereby fulfilling legal obligations and enhancing the quality of service.Demonstrate an understanding of the value of diversity in the workplace and work effectively with colleagues from various backgrounds, fostering an inclusive environment.Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in banking, finance, or investment sectors.
