The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose issues and the ability to efficiently communicate those issues to ensure optimal performance of machines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble machines according to detailed station assembly prints and specifications.
- Set switches and pneumatic flow controls, per station specifications.
- Position, align, and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly.
- Inspect, test, and adjust completed units to ensure specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements are met.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional college coursework related to design and basic mechanical principles preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of highly skilled experience in mechanical assembly required.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, with a high degree of attention to detail.
- Proven experience working effectively in a team environment.
- Mathematical skills that include the ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and make metric system conversions required.
- Capability to read and understand blueprints, specification manuals, assembly plans, and other manufacturing instructions required.
This is an on-site position in our new, state-of-the-art facility, located in Trevor, Wisconsin, which is in Kenosha County and near the Illinois border.
