Position Title: Victim Advocate
Company: Strategic Resources, Inc. (SRI)

Position Overview:
  • Deliver services aimed at preventing domestic violence and sexual assault through advocacy, education, training, and awareness initiatives.
  • Inform Soldiers, Family members, and Army civilians as part of the Army Family Advocacy Program (FAP).
Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage effectively with victims and non-offending parents/guardians.
  • Establish trusting relationships with victims and families from varied backgrounds.
  • Respond to crisis situations and formulate safety and intervention strategies.
  • Function within the framework of the U.S. Army's Family Advocacy Program.
  • Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to assist victims.
  • Educate personnel on appropriate responses to domestic violence.
Essential Qualifications, Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience aiding victims of domestic violence.
  • Experience with military or civilian social service organizations.
  • Understanding of family violence dynamics and trauma-informed care.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in English and competent in computer usage.
  • Capability to obtain security clearance and hold a valid driver's license.
