Job Title: Final Inspection Specialist

TTM Technologies, Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of technology solutions, and we are seeking a skilled Final Inspection Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Final Inspection Specialist is responsible for inspecting printed circuit boards (PCBs) for flaws that may have been manufactured into the product during processing using magnifying equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform all types of visual inspection related to PCBs using magnification equipment
  • Read and interpret customer drawings
  • Identify and segregate non-conforming product
  • Perform minor rework and repairs to identified defects
  • Preform final count of acceptable and rejected boards
  • Compare shop traveler quantity to final count and notify supervisor of discrepancies
  • Complete reject report, sign traveler, and input data into final log
  • Obtain final documentation package and move to the shipping department
  • Using calipers, pin gauges and micrometers
  • Maintain a high attention to detail
  • Follow all departmental process procedures correctly
  • Complete all departmental documentation accurately
  • Complete quality checks when product arrives in and exits the department
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management and cross-train as needed to assist production
Requirements:
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
  • Ability to stand for the duration of shift
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, customer specifications, and procedures
  • Basic math, problem solving, interpersonal skills, and computer skills
  • Must possess interpersonal, problem solving, and communication skills
  • Follow all safety measures
Education and Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent

Previous manufacturing experience preferred

Previous PCB experience preferred

Export Statement:

Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws, including ITAR, EAR and OFAC.

Must be able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents.

Must recognize Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation and understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL).

Must understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US.

Must manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
