This is a first-level position accountable for assisting in the inspection of bridges on the State maintained system. The job involves assisting in the planning and inspection of bridges, including assigning condition ratings, completing necessary forms, and making detailed sketches, photographs, and measurements to accurately report the condition of a bridge.

Requirements
  • Typically requires completion of an FHWA approved comprehensive Bridge Inspection Course within 6 months of employment
